Moonshade Apothecary LLC (“Moonshade,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to careful fulfillment and transparent shipping practices. Please review this Shipping Policy prior to placing an order, as it governs order processing, shipping, local delivery, local pickup, and related responsibilities.
By placing an order through our store, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 2–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Processing time does not include shipping transit time.
Because our products are handcrafted and produced in small batches, processing times may vary during high-volume periods, seasonal launches, or limited releases.
Shipping Rates & Methods
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:
• Package weight and dimensions
• Shipping destination
• Selected shipping method
We ship using third-party carriers, including but not limited to USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Carrier selection is at our discretion unless otherwise stated.
Shipping fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Shipping is not free unless explicitly stated as part of a promotion.
Local Delivery (Limited Area Only)
Local delivery is a paid service and is not the same as standard shipping.
Local delivery is available only within a limited geographic radius determined by Moonshade Apothecary LLC. Eligibility is determined by the delivery address entered at checkout.
If a customer selects local delivery but provides an address outside of the approved delivery area, we reserve the right to:
• Adjust the order to standard shipping and charge applicable shipping fees
• Request additional payment for correct delivery charges
• Cancel the order if the customer does not agree to updated shipping terms
Local delivery fees are calculated at checkout and are not refundable once delivery has been attempted.
Moonshade Apothecary LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel local delivery orders at our discretion.
Local Pickup – Woodland Hills Farmers Market
Local pickup at the Woodland Hills Farmers Market is available only on select event dates and during official market hours.
Pickup is not available daily and is not guaranteed outside of scheduled market appearances.
Pickup details, including date, time, and location, will be clearly stated at checkout when available.
If a customer selects local pickup:
• Orders must be collected during the specified market hours
• Orders not picked up during the designated timeframe may be shipped at the customer’s expense
• If no valid shipping address is provided, the order may be cancelled
Moonshade Apothecary LLC is not responsible for missed pickups due to customer failure to appear during market hours.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
We currently ship within the United States.
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout for reference only and are not guaranteed.
Moonshade Apothecary LLC is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:
• Carrier service disruptions
• Weather events
• Incorrect or incomplete address information
• Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control
International Shipping (If Applicable)
International shipping times vary by destination and are subject to customs processing.
Customers are solely responsible for:
• Customs duties
• Import taxes
• Brokerage fees
• Any additional charges imposed by the destination country
Failure to pay required customs fees may result in delayed delivery, return to sender, or destruction of the shipment. Orders affected by customs issues are not eligible for refund.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.
Moonshade Apothecary LLC is not responsible for:
• Orders delivered to an incorrect address due to customer error
• Delays or losses caused by address verification issues
Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information may be subject to additional shipping fees or deemed non-refundable.
Order Tracking
Once an order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Moonshade Apothecary LLC does not control carrier tracking systems and is not responsible for tracking delays, gaps, or inaccuracies.
Delivery Confirmation & Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to the customer once the order is transferred to the shipping carrier.
Orders marked as “Delivered” by the carrier are considered successfully fulfilled.
Moonshade Apothecary LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages once a shipment is marked as delivered.
We strongly recommend shipping to a secure delivery location.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please contact info@moonshadeapothecary.com and include:
• Order number
• Photos of the damaged item(s)
• Photos of the shipping box and all packaging materials
Failure to submit documentation within 48 hours may result in denial of the claim.
Approved claims will be resolved at our discretion via replacement or refund, in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Lost or Missing Packages
If tracking indicates that your package is lost in transit:
• Contact the carrier directly to initiate a claim
• Notify us so we may assist where possible
Refunds or replacements for lost packages are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Refused, Unclaimed, or Undeliverable Packages
Packages that are refused, unclaimed, or returned to sender due to customer error (including incorrect address or failure to retrieve the package) are not eligible for refund.
Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.
No Physical Returns (Hygiene & Safety Policy)
Due to hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements:
• Personal care products are not eligible for physical return
• Products must not be shipped back to Moonshade Apothecary LLC
• Any unauthorized return shipments will be refused and discarded
Approved refunds, if any, are processed without product return in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Relationship to Refund Policy
Shipping issues do not extend or override the 7-day refund request window.
All refund determinations, including restocking and processing fees, are governed solely by our Refund Policy.
Shipping Policy Updates
Moonshade Apothecary LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
